  1. general description the 74hc244; 74HCT244 is a high-speed si-gate cmos device and is pin compatible with low-power schottky ttl (lsttl). the 74hc244; 74HCT244 has octal non-inverting buffer/line drivers with 3-state outputs. the 3-state outputs are controlled by the output enable inputs 1 oe and 2 oe. a high on n oe causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance off-state. the 74hc244; 74HCT244 is identical to the 74hc240; 74hct240 but has non-inverting outputs. 2. features n octal bus interface n non-inverting 3-state outputs n complies with jedec standard no. 7a n esd protection: u hbm eia/jesd22-a114-c exceeds 2000 v u mm eia/jesd22-a115-a exceeds 200 v n multiple package options n speci?ed from - 40 cto+85 c and from - 40 c to +125 c 3. quick reference data [1] c pd is used to determine the dynamic power dissipation (p d in m w): p d =c pd v cc 2 f i n+ ?
